Quilt Show Volunteers Needed
Dear members and non-members, quilters and non-quilters, you are probably aware that the sixth annual “Pieces of the Heart” Quilt Show is quickly approaching on October 17-19.   The show is a fundraising event which continues to grow in the number of quilts exhibited and in the number of visitors who attend the show.  Attendees can connect with their creative muse by walking through our quilt exhibit, enjoy the bed turning where family quilts are shared with the stories of their legacies, and shop their way through our boutique of unique, handmade items, just in time for the holidays! It takes quite a number of volunteers to produce a successful show. We welcome your support of the Arts Council whether you are a quilter or non-quilter, a member or non-member. Our quilt show was one of the first large events that we sponsored and the response that we have received from year to year has been the reason we continue to offer it and the reason it continues to grow. With the growth of the show, its success depends on our volunteers and their willingness to share in the preparation, participate during the show, and help in dismantling the event.  We have a variety of opportunities to help
