Crossroads Arts Council, in partnership with Wentzville Parks and Recreation, are working to tackle litter in Wentzville by sponsoring the annual trash can decorating contest. The goal of this effort is to raise public awareness of the need to help prevent litter in our local parks and community. We want to highlight all the parks and facilities offered to the public and the positive effects they have on the recreational activity of our community. The contest is open to students and adults who live in Wentzville. The contest will run through March 29, 2026.
There are two opportunities at the WREC for students to design and color their entry:
- Wednesday, March 4th from 5-7pm
- Saturday, March 14nd from 11am-2pm.
Paper and markers will be provided.
No registration is required.
