“Pieces of the Heart” Quilt Show

General Notes:
• Accurate measurements needed for each quilt
• Pillowcases preferred to hold quilt during entry and exit process, except for the Challenge category. Please use a zip lock bag for the challenge.
• Pin a paper with the entrant’s name, quilt name and category to the pillowcase. For the challenge, please put it in the bag.
• A separate entry form for each quilt is required.
• If you’re willing to sell your quilt, put your contact information and a price in the lower right-hand corner. Quilt must remain hanging for the duration of the show.
• Entry fee is $5.00 per quilt. Fee includes admission to the show.
• No fee for the bed turning quilts or the quilted garment category.
• This year for the challenge quilt category, we are not selling kits. We are asking you to use RED, WHITE and BLUE fabric from your stash to help celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Finished quilt size stays the same: between 12” x 12″ and 20″ x 20″. No glitter, no lace, rickrack or beading on the outside edge, and no hanging sleeves. Finished quilts must have a front, batting, and a back. You will pay the $5 entry fee for the Challenge category.
• All quilt entries must be delivered to the St. Gianna on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 9 am – 12 pm or 6 – 7 p.m.
• Entries must be picked up from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday October 17, 2026, after the closing of the show. No quilts will be released before 1 pm.

A minimum of 5 items entered per category, before prize money will be awarded
• Machine quilted (larger than 60 x 60) – adult
• Hand quilted (larger than 60 x 60) – adult
• Wall hanging – (smaller than 60 x 60)
• Youth – 16 and under – all work must be done by the youth.
• Youth Challenge – 16 and under
• Adult Challenge
• Art (quilt themed) created in anything BUT fabric
• New this year – quilted garment fashion show – no prize money – – no entry fee
• Bed turning – no prize money – – no entry fee – not displayed other than during bed turning presentations.

$50 for 2nd place
$25 for 3rd place
