CAC Founding member, artist Patrick Nolan, has donated art to the Crossroads Arts Council. The sale of these art items has created an opportunity for high school students to apply for an Art Scholarship.
Congratulations to our 2025 Scholarship winner: Shea Lee is currently attending Kansas City Art Institute. She is a multi-media illustrator working in printmaking, digital and traditional illustration.
Congratulations to our 2024 Scholarship winner: Grace Beamer of Troy Buchanan High School
CAC President Laura Birk presents the Patrick Nolan $500 Student Art Scholarship to Grace Beamer, graduating from Troy Buchanan High School. She will be attending Truman State University pursuing her degree in Design/3D Modeling and Animation. She has been an officer (Treasurer 9th – 11th grade and Vice President, 12th grade) of Art Guild and Art Honors Society. She has also been President of the National Art Honors Society (12th grade).
Grace also won the 2024 “Sponsor’s Award” in Crossroads Arts Council’s 2024 Spanning the Generations Student Art Show.
